摘要：The Arthur-Selberg trace formula is a powerful tool for establishing cases of Langlands functoriality/reciprocity. In this talk, we give a brief introduction to the stabilization of the trace formula and its role in the Langlands program. We also discuss some recent progress in the case of covering groups.
