  • Love the recipes but so many problems

    By BellatrixandFrankie
Had this app since the very beginning. I love the recipes and it’s so easy to save the ones I want and find them when I need them. Yes the app does crash often but I noticed if you scroll slowly it won’t. The reason for 3 stars is because of the new update. Now the app is saying I’m not subscribed when I am. There’s no way to restore or fix the issues. I’m hoping they fix this soon otherwise I’ll have to cancel completely.
  • More hassle than it’s worth

There are TONS of good recipes to play with. but the app is very slow, and I’ve just been locked out (5/22/20) because the app thinks I’m not subscribed. My annual subscription ends 11/5/2020. Can’t get in through any email address, it won’t send a password recovery, and won’t let me in through Facebook because “an account already exists”. No word back from app support. The app currently advertises the $19.99 annual subscription as a 40% discount. Check your math - at $1.99 per month, that’s barely a 20% discount.
  • Tons of problems, wish it worked better

    By improve5676
This app has consistently many problems during my use over the last 1.5 years. When I emailed about a problem i was having with the app, it was not addressed for months. Today, I just updated the app, and it’s now telling me that my subscription expired more than a year ago and is asking me to pay again. I pay for the monthly subscription. I’m vegan so really like having access to recipes, I just wish that this app worked better.

I love this app. Has lots of choices.
  • Constantly crashes

    By mj9332
As soon as I pull up an interesting recipe it shuts down and I have to reopen and try to find the recipe again. Probably going to have to cancel my subscription.
  • Free Trial not working paid for subscription and still didn’t work

    By T Brimm
Trial is not working. I emailed and response.
  • Poorly thought out

    By Mmcguire
Like others have mentioned, there is no way to print and the collections don't work. The developer clearly isn't paying attention to what users are saying needs to be fixed. I cancelled my subscription before the trial ended.
  • Disappointed - cancelled subscription

    By AlaskaJc1234
Spent a lot of time bookmarking recipes. Why can’t I add any of them to the meal planning section? There are very few options under just the meal planning section. Can’t export recipes after paying for them. I like to add to Copy me that app for cooking. Asked how can I save the ones I already saved and paid for- can’t. Also lose everything you already paid for if you cancel the monthly subscription. Rip off.
  • I LOVE This App

    By The Queen of Genes
I don’t live in America, preferring to live in interesting, developing nations instead, which means that I cannot get a lot of the items I’m used to buying in the States. As a result, I make all of my own vegan cheeses, mayo, aioli, margarine, tofu, and more, but I’m often living in countries where there are foods I’ve never seen before, don’t know how to prepare. This app allows me to explore an item, say, BEETS, where I am presented with lots of great recipes accompanied by the most amazing photos. I always get so hungry using this app. The app is very well designed (thank goodness for that!), super easy to navigate, and even though I’m still just using the basic, free membership, I’m loving everything I find here. For only $20/year, hell yes I’m gonna subscribe. Whomever designed this app should be applauded. You can see how hard they thought out every step, thinking of almost everything, making it easy and fun to explore. I just posted this app on one of my vegan FB groups. I can’t say enough about this app. It is masterfully easy, so pleasing to the eyes, and jam packed with great info. SUGGESTION: A “Foods from around the world” would be grand. For example, I now live in Belize, where a popular root vegetable, cassava, is a staple. When I lived in Madagascar, we called it mangahazo (MAN-ga-HA-zoo), but prepared it totally differently. I’d love to see a section featuring these oft overlooked foodstuffs.
  • Collections don’t work

    By Elacruz7
I would have given this 5 stars but the collections don’t work on the app. Huge faux pas. I read some other reviews and apparently people have been complaining about this for months and it still is t working.
