The way that this app teaches is very easy to comprehend, and in cute, bit-sized lessons! This is a great app for people who are just beginning to learn a new language because it’s so fun, yet effective! If you’re someone looking at this review in the App Store, wondering if you should get this, I say it’s worth it!

What I like is your story’s, lessons and all other stuff. A lot of days I didn’t really learn LingoDeer, but when my dad said I need to learn Spanish in LingoDeer, I was amazed by how much I love learning with deer and did a lot of pop quizzes. I...I...I................I just don’t know how to explain!!!!! Now,a lot of people in South America speaks Spanish, or I meant Espanol, I can guide my parents!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But, whenever we send a message, you whoever made this app, didn’t respond, thanks. And, even though I did it every day, should I be on the leaderboard now?
  • Best self study language app I’ve found

    By proofroll
This app does an excellent job teaching languages especially ones with different scripts that Duolingo and pimsler struggle with. Not all foreign scripts are made into lessons however, Russian being the prime example. Overall I have really found myself liking LingoDeer. One thing to note is I am a more visual learner so I have to see the words to understand them. Also when typing an answer, there is no spellcheck so you have to learn to spell. For the cons: Russian needs a better lesson for the alphabet. Japanese could do with teaching the kanji better. There are random errors where the images shown for vocabulary are in Chinese. And the app in some menus, like the option menus, can feel a bit jankey. For the pros: It has all the languages I’m interested in learning (not a huge list though). You can tap a button after answering a question to hear the answer spoken to you. Lessons feel well planned out and layer with each other to build your understanding. I see little updates to the app every month or three with new content added. Like I said before Lingodeer works better for me than other apps I’ve tried.
  • Not that great

It doesn’t sound like how other say it and you have to pay to learn more like why people can’t afford to pay that much plus there better place to learn different languages for free
  • Please add Norwegian

    By bdhdudhdvd
Hi LingoDeer I love your app and it is helping me learn korean. I will continue to use the app and I was wandering if you guys can add Norwegian into the app. I also love Norwegian but can’t find any other app that will help me learn it. So my request is that if maybe you guys can add it. It would be nice if you did. But anyway your app is the best.
  • Great app

This app offers more grammatical insight than a lot of other languages apps. Which is amazing.
