  • Disappointed

    By webpianoteacher
If you plan on connecting your iPhone or iPad to a TV to watch, do not buy! The shows play ok on my devices, but as soon as you connect to an external screen like a TV, the game stops streaming. I’m able to connect this way with Netflix, Sling, and Amazon Prime, but ESPN fails every time. I have the latest devices and cables, so it’s not my setup that’s the problem. Shame.
  • When it doesn't take forever to load, it crashes.

    By Pjrvmg
My patience is through. Takes so long to load, and then crashes so frequently. Incredibly laggy.
  • Do Not Like

Always have to search for my favorite, especially in college baseball. Favorites should be at top. Do not like set up or format. Gives information and sports that I could care less about. Wish they had never changed the app. Hopefully they will fix soon.
  • Garbage

    By Jon-Damien
This app is thoroughly disappointing for someone who is supposed to be the leader in reporting all things sports. First off I go to my teams “scores” and they do not display last nights score. Instead they show the teams next opponent so I have to manually go to each individual team and dig out last nights results. Next I have my favorites and on my page they show the sports and stories I could care less about. C’mon Man! Leader of sports? Psst. I’m in search for a new sports app that caters to sports and teams I’m interested in not what they think I should be interested in! One star garbage app!
  • Radio Streams Start & Stop For No Reason

    By mynameserl
On Wi-Fi or cellular data the radio stream will just stop. Internet radio’s been around for 20+ years. Disney use the Baby Yoda money to fix it and be better.
  • Crashes frequently

By 5 star to my butt
This app crashed on me twice today, both while I was simply scrolling on the home screen. Granted, I do have an older iPhone 6s, but most other apps don't crash as often. Could use some performance improvements.

  • Buggy and Useless

    By amc1140
I used to use this app for watching highlights and checking scores for the NBA, NFL, and MLB but I fully converted to fb/ig. It’s sad ESPN can’t even make an app that does those 2 things (no wonder why the company loses so much $). For watching highlights, social media or YouTube is much better. The ESPN app is always buggy, the videos start too late into the plays (especially baseball), they are blurry and not zoomed in enough, and the highlights are too short. The highlights will also overlap in some cases where they only focus on a few plays (especially basketball). The commentary also gives little substance and analysis but that’s not the fault of the app. For checking scores, it’s a pain finding what you want because the app doesn’t curate for you. I have 3 sports favorited and 5 teams favorited but when they play the scores never pop up. I have to dig to find those scores every time. The home screen always shows scores I don’t care about. The only reason I still go through the trouble of checking scores on the app is that it updates pretty quick. Also, I enjoy seeing the box scores but would love to see league leader stats on the app. About the ads, a 30 second ad before (almost) every are is pushing it, another reason YouTube is better for highlights. I grew up watching ESPN and I hope they can figure this out.
  • App not VoiceOver Accessible

    By QCCal
I purchased the app so that I could watch the 30 for 30 documentaries. When I go to that page, it doesn’t list the movie titles so I cannot access them. Can you make this app fully accessible? I will need to see about getting my money back.
  • Where is my XFL coverage?

    By Infamous Schim
App is decent although it seems less easy to navigate as they update it over time. Also I don’t know why it won’t let me add the xfl and xfl teams to my favorites. That needs to get fixed!
