  • Newsday...stick to reporting

    By Eclectic Musicite
Having read Newsday on LI even as a child in the 60’s, it is usually well-written and mostly accurate reporting. It’s great to have local coverage and the paper does a really good at that. The many sections are nicely organized. The liberal bias however is pervasive, insulting and historic. This does not truly represent Long Island’s politics, which is a republican majority. Newsday would be more successful if they were able to remove that bias against republican tenets. The key to being a great news organization is intelligently presenting both or all viewpoints in such a way that different thoughts are neither right nor wrong. Unfortunately I never see that in Newsday but I am still a loyal subscriber even after all these years, holding out hope!
  • Not a Newspaper

I find it appalling that Newsday is so biased that they pick and. Choose the news that they report. I do not see any news about the biggest political scandal in United States history. Been reading Newsday for over 50 years and no longer enjoy it. Hope we get another Néwspaer on LI. Why are you not investigating and reporting on the Hunter Biden story. Left two voice mails for the political editor and not even a call back. Tom Kaspar 5157987150

Articles of demonstrations or marches should give more accurate estimates of participants numbers. What does “thousands” mean??? 4,000, 10,000, 15,000, or 3,000???? The article about south shore said thousands. The article about caravan to city last week gave NO ESTIMATE, 500, 1000, or 10,000 ????
  • Bias: your views don’t reflect the views of Long Island. I’m thinking about ordering The Post

You can be completely biased Hate on white people every chance you get, but never mention race or ethnicity if a black or hispanic does anything wrong. They are to be protected like the gods they are. Even better are the headlines that have articles that have no information & never get updated. Did I mention they hate white people because they do even though that makes up 95% of their subscribers. This rag is a pathetic joke. They got rid of their comment section because the people who posted there called them out and on their wildly unpopular agenda driven version of the “news”. Newsday is Trash. The print version is only fit to line a bird cage & the online version stinks too.
