    I haven’t been able to get a response through email, as to why I am not able to get on Shudder anymore since the update you guys did. I also get the continuous “update app to continue”, and it then tells me I am already subscribed, and to manage my subscription. I do pay for this through my iTunes account. I have uninstalled the app, reinstalled it, I have also changed my password, and it still won’t let me watch anything. It tells me to “try it now for free” but I’ve been on it almost the month! I’m not the only one who has this problem, since a friend of mine is having the same issue, as me. If no help in the next few days, I will have to cancel my subscription before next weeks charge. I had tried contacting the developer by way of email, but unfortunately it came back to me as undeliverable, and when I contacted them another way, they told me to do the above, and still nothing worked. What a shame, since Shudder has the better horror movies on it, and the app failed me two weeks into my subscription. UPDATE—I am back to a five star review for Shudder. They did get back to me via email, told me to cancel my subscription and uninstall the app. Then after my billing period was over, which was yesterday, Feb.15 to reinstall Shudder, and sign up again. So far it has been working, and I started a movie a few minutes ago, and it is working for me again. Thank you for your help Team Shudder!!

    So i just signed up with email and password, confirmed my Apple ID for payment, got a confirmation email to the SAME email i signed up with, was so excited...and then when i tried to watch anything it popped up a screen that says “Oops your not one of us yet! Try Now!” So when i clicked that it says I’m already subscribed. Tried to email for help and they just keep saying they can’t find anything signed up under my email...even after sending screenshots of the confirmation email i got to that same email, and also screenshots of the messages i got in the app when trying to watch a movie! Just trash!! I was really excited too!! Soooooo disappointing!!

    When trying to play movies it keeps giving me a “try it” screen. Frustrated. Just wanted to sit down last night and watch a movie. Think I’m going to cancel

    Tried it for the trial period. Then unsubscribed the night before they would charge my account and was charged the 5.99$. Smh now I have to go though the trouble of trying to get refunded. Sad thing is they still have me showing subscribed in the App Store. Seen I’m also not the only one who experienced this problem.

    Second time I have attempted to use your crap app. Second time disgusted. No thanks. It won’t locate my account info. But I’m sure it won’t have a problem finding it on billing day!

    I pay monthly. For some reason the app has stopped working. It opens but when I try to watch a movie it says I need to update my subscription. So I go to there only to be told I already have the update. I got the update so it’s not that. I was able to open the app 3 days ago. What’s going on? When I tried to contact support I tried to sign in with my email address and password. It won’t accept them. So I tried to reset my password. I entered my email to have a password reset sent and still haven’t received anything from y’all. If I don’t hear back I will be canceling my subscription.

    I got Shudder strictly for Joe Bob Briggs and The Last Drive In! Then I discovered The Critters series and everything else Shudder offers. The exclusive content is great. I mean Creepshow is awesome! As long as the original content is this good, I am hooked. I look forward to seeing more Joe Bob Briggs and recommend u add more Classic Horror Hosts like Elvira in a similar format! So far this is the one subscription channel that is a must have. Excellent interface and easy to use. Picture quality and sound is excellent and thru put on an IPad, Samsung phone and Pc/Roku is outstanding. Human Interface and design engineers hit this service out of the park! Keep Joe Bob and develop quality original content and maybe throw in some classic content and I am a subscriber forever. Cancelled Netflix for Shudder and am not looking back.

    Ever since the botched survey about Creepshow in Oct of 2019 there has been NO sign of any actual PEOPLE working 2 keep the app/streaming service up & running. The Creepshow survey never could b sent after I finished it bcuz right after I hit “send” it just returned 2 the first page of the survey! No matter how many times I emailed them about this issue I got the same auto response saying I had a “ticket” & then another email 2 days l8er saying my “ticket” was about 2 xpire! Not 2 mention no xplain8ion as 2 what this was or any solution 2 it. Shudder, GET YO 💩 2GETHA & HIRE ACTUAL FLESH & BLOOD PEOPLE!!!!! I keep writing multiple reviews here on the App Store but NONE of them r printed! They just disappear, poof! After I hit the “send” button. U guys do realize that number 1, u need actual people 2 run a successful, reputable, & professional app/streaming service & number 2, there r other horror specific streaming services up now that r FREE & will eat u alive if u don’t tend 2 business. Stupid idiots u guys r. Seriously stupid 4 having NO ACTUAL PEOPLE on board. Oh, & Shudder, can u get the human people 2 FIX THE REVIEWS section?! The print is ALL OVERLAPPING ON THESKULLS. Jesus. People. FIX. YOUR. APP.

    Login suddenly stopped working. Reset password but still didn't work. Now not even receiving new password reset emails. Contacted Shudder who says it's due to a technical issue from a recent update and are working on a fix ASAP. Will be seeking a refund if this isn't resolved soon, as I'm not paying for a subscription I can't use.
  • Streaming for Horror Fans!

    I recently got Shudder and have already watched a bunch of movies. I’m an old school horror fan and I’m happy to see the variety of old and new horror movies and also a great variety of horror genres. It’s also cool to see Shudder exclusives like Creepshow, Critters and The Last Drive In. I hope they come out with even more exclusive shows and movies. My only complaint is that some of the movies on here are also found on other streaming like amazon prime, even free streaming apps like Tubi. Which makes me think the distribution rights for those movies are up for grab for a lot of streaming services. So I just wish they would add even more titles to balance it out. That’s the only reason I didn’t give it a 5 star rating. That being said horror fans needed this pretty bad. I might cancel Netflix because there horror selection is garbage. So thanks Shudder for understanding the real horror fans out there!
